Geoff Hacker calls his auto shop in Tampa, Fla., kind of an SPCA for a beautiful, but often ignored era of the American sports car that didn’t last long, yet still holds an indelible mark on the history of automotive design.
While many car collectors and enthusiasts spend their time and money hunting the popular classic chrome and steel models of the 1950s, Hacker and his business partner and buddy, Rick D’Louhy, keep their collective efforts focused on fiberglass.
