Description
Chrysler Corporation’s brief alliance with Mercedes-Benz yielded a limited number of interesting joint products, including the Chrysler 300 sedan as well as the Dodge Charger and Magnum wagon. All shared the same Mercedes-Benz E-class-inspired platform and suspension components. The Magnum offered a base 190-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 as well as a 250-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. On the menu was the 340-horsepower 5.7-liter “Hemi” V8 as well as the 425-horsepower 6.1-liter version in the SRT8 model from Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology department.
