Description

Malcolm Bricklin was never really quite sure where it all went wrong, although his investors have a few theories.
Bricklin’s dream of beginning an automobile manufacturing company on the east coast of Canada was supposed to be a can’t-miss venture. But by the time Bricklin Vehicle Canada folded in 1975, Bricklin’s bankruptcy petition listed $2,000 in assets and $32,354,870.03 in debts.

Description

Driving with my mother feels a bit like a game of chance.
No matter how short the trip, I strap myself in and pray that we’ll make it home alive. She thinks my comments to that effect are intended as jokes, but I’m not laughing.
I don’t remember always being scared to be in the car with her … at least not for the most part…

Description

The really obvious question is, what the heck happened to Chevrolet in 1959 and ’60?
The styling was a topic of hot debate, then and now, but no one can deny that the sight of the late 1950s Chevrolet Impala still generates its fair share of gawkers at classic-car events.
The excitement today, however, is only a murmur compared to the full-on reaction of the buying public in fall of 1958 when the first full-line Impala (the name originated from a 1956…

Description

Other manufacturers were quicker out of the gate with their luxury-oriented sport-utility models, but Honda’s upscale Acura division quickly caught up with its very first home-grown effort for the 2001 model year. (The previous Acura SLX was Isuzu-Trooper-based.) The original MDX stayed around for six seasons before an all-new version was launched for the 2007 model year. It featured a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. Other than minor styling and suspension updates and a switch to a six-speed automatic transmission for 2010, the MDX remained essentially unchanged until a new third-generation model was launched for 2014.

Description

Neil Dueweke still remembers the day these cold and emotionless invaders quietly overran factory floors and callously changed the course of automotive history.
These tireless workers never left their post, never called in sick, never took vacation, and never once gossiped or griped about long hours or no lunch break.
