Description
Toyota’s tiny entry-level car arrived in the U.S. market for the 2007 calendar year, replacing the Echo sedan. Designed at the automaker’s studios in France, the Yaris was initially available in a two-door hatchback body style as well as a four-door sedan. A four-door hatchback joined the lineup for 2009. All were equipped with the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. Following a successful six-year run, the second-generation Yaris was launched for the 2012 model year.
